Installation Instructions

1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.

2. Using a T-10 screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the optics plate. Lift the plate off.

3. Remove the factory-installed LCI and spring.

4. With a cotton swab, clean any grease from the LCI cavity.
Apply a small amount of oil to all surfaces where the LCI was seated.

5. Align the LCI delete plug with the cavity and gently press it into place.

6. Once the plug is slightly recessed and fully seated, reinstall the optics plate.
Secure it by torquing the T-10 screws to 9 in-lbs.

7. Perform a function check on your firearm.


Removal of the LCI Delete Plug

  • Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry under the back edge of the plug.
  • Lift upward, rocking slightly back and forth if needed.
  • With a bit of patience, the plug will come out easily.
